Terms and Conditions

1. Service Agreement

By accessing or using YARE, a product of Northino Tech Ltd. ("YARE", "we", "our"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. YARE provides a platform that connects clients with translators and enables educators, creators, and organizations to localize content into African and global languages. These Terms govern all translation services, platform use, and related transactions.

2. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and legality of any content submitted for translation. You must not upload unlawful, offensive, or infringing materials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account or requesting services.

3. Payment & Fees

Payment is due as specified at the time of order. We accept credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and online payment systems. Platform fees vary depending on whether you consent to the use of your data for research and AI training. Failure to pay may result in suspension of services.

4. Intellectual Property & Confidentiality

You retain full ownership of your original content and translated content once payment is complete. Translators and YARE staff are bound by confidentiality obligations. We do not claim rights over your content except where anonymized data is used for service improvement, subject to your explicit consent.

5. Data Usage & Consent

If you consent, your content may be anonymized and securely used to improve our AI translation models and services. If you do not consent, your content will only be used for your requested translation project. Full details are provided in our Privacy Policy.

6. Quality & Revisions

We strive to deliver accurate and timely translations. If you are not satisfied, you may request a revision within the specified timeframe. Refunds or credits may be granted at our discretion, subject to review.

7. Limitation of Liability

YARE’s liability is limited to the value of the specific project. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or platform.

8. Cancellation & Termination

Orders may be cancelled before work begins without penalty. Once work has started, partial fees may apply based on progress. YARE reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. In-App Subscriptions (Auto-Renewable)

YARE offers auto-renewable subscription plans (Starter, Growth, and Pro) through Apple's App Store and Google Play Store. The following terms apply to all in-app subscription purchases:

  • Subscription Name: YARE Credits – Starter / Growth / Pro
  • Billing Period: Monthly (auto-renews every 30 days)
  • Pricing: As displayed in the app at the time of purchase, in your local currency
  • Free Trial: Where offered, the subscription begins at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings (iOS) or Google Play Account (Android). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no refunds are provided for the remaining period
  • Manage Subscription: iOS — Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions. Android — Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
  • Price Changes: We may change subscription prices at any time. You will be notified of any price changes in advance, and your continued subscription after the change constitutes acceptance of the new price

Subscription credits are non-transferable and expire at the end of each billing period. Unused credits do not carry over to the next period.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and, where applicable, relevant international data protection regulations such as the GDPR. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
